On RegDat pages user orients according to the offer in the top bar (HOME, MENU, SEARCH, INFORMATION, DOWNLOAD, CONTACT, ENGLISH), which provides basic information on contact, used abbreviations, possibilities of fast searching as well as information for work with database. Basic information on RegDat database is accessible through the choice HOME in the top bar.

	Through the choice MENU user gets the page with main tree, which provides access to individual data by statistical domains. Within the first page of PX-Web application user can select directly the group of statistical data.
In the next windows of PX-Web application user chooses one or more interest fields from the given data group. Within the one interest domain (for example Industry) user selects from the list of individual statistical data saved in the form of multidimensional matrixes (PX-files). Description given next to every PX file is generated automatically from metadata in PX file.
	By clicking on relevant link for selected PX file the page with form is opened, where user selects among possible dimensions and their values to reach required selection. Then the selection can be displayed on the screen or saved directly on users disc in one of output file formats (Excel, text, PX file).
If statistical data is about to be displayed in table form, the page with the table and tools bar is displayed.

After clicking on button Map PX-iMap application starts running in new window (on the assumption that selection for map presentation is valid as stated in the part about PX-Map). The window consists of legend picture, map picture and elements of the form, where user switches among individual values of selected dimension (Variable), changes map type (Choroplet map -cartogram, Symbol map – cartodiagram), changes classification method (quantiles, equal intervals) and specifies the size of map picture.

Through the link „Download map picture and statistical data“ user can save different elements of map set on his computer disc especially PX file and PXO file, which ensure a possibility to open the same map set in PX-Map application assuming that user has required spatial data in own computer.

In every dimension at least one value has to be marked. If you want to see all items of values of dimensions, you can use the button . If you want to cancel marking, push the key button CTRL and click by mouse button or use the button .

Marking of all lines in the list

• Mark the first line in the list. Then push SHIFT and END keys at the same time.

Cancellation of line marking in the list

• Push CTRL key and mouse left button at the same time in required line.

Marking of several lines in the list

• Mark the line, click by mouse left button and move (you mark more lines bellow or above). Other possibility: mark the line, push Shift +UP key (eventually Shift+Down, Shift+PageUp, Shift+PageDown) or Shift key and mouse left button. Non-continuous marking of lines: push CTRL key and mouse left button at the same time in requested lines.

Searching of required value in the list

• Mark the first line in the list. Then fill in the first letter of searching value. If you do not manage to find searching record, continue in writing of next letters or use UP or DOWN key.
